This is a classic vintage flamenco dress.



Made in Andalusia, Spain.



It is perfect for riding, flamenco shows, theater, or cos-play.





DESCRIPTION:

A gorgeous, vintage, hand-made Spanish flamenco dress, or vestido de gitana. Sourced right here locally in the south of Spain, Andalusia, which is the heart and soul of Flamenco culture.



For a quick size comparison, this dress if for someone with a waist the size of a mannequin (the dress fits snuggly on the mannequin).



However, there are 2.75 inches of extra fabric on either side of the bodice that you can use to take it out (5.5 inches total).



Remember that all vintage, second hand items sold on my site MAY have some minor imperfections due to their age. I try my best to be honest in my descriptions about the state of the clothing. MEASUREMENTS:



You must check your own measurements against the measurements of the dress, otherwise it might not fit you properly. You can always tailor it down if the dress is too large.



1.) Bust = 30" inches



2.) Waist = 26"



3.) Hips = 30"



4.) Back shoulder to waist = 14.5"



5.) Back shoulder to hips = 20"



6.) Back shoulder to hemline = 52"



7.) There are about 5.5 inches conservatively of extra cloth for the bodice to be taken out.

If you do not know how to measure yourself properly, please follow these instructions:



There are three key points: your bust, waist and hips. You should measure against your body, not through clothes, to get the most accurate measurements. Use a flexible tape measure and make sure it’s not too tight or too loose.





Bust (1): Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape measure is straight across your back.



Waist (2): Measure around the smallest part of your waist. To find this, bend to one side like a teapot and where the crease forms is your natural waist.



Hips (3): With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually 20cm down from the natural waistline.
