Antique Giltwood Frame: Spanish Military Man Photograph (17.5" L)

Item description & background story: 
This is a gorgeous, antique "gilt wood" (golden wood) frame made in Spain or possibly Italy. Both countries are known for their artisanal frames. This frame features a stately man, perhaps military, posing for a formal photo. Very interesting. Who was he? What was his name? This kind of thing makes history come alive for me, what about you? I found this treasure at an antiques market in the south of Spain,

Measurements:
The outer measurements are 17 inches long by 13.5 inches wide. The interior measurements of the area covered by glass are 13.25 inches long by 9.5 inches wide.

Condition description: 
The condition is described by the photos. There are no major damages to the frame but there is wear commensurate with age. PLEASE NOTE: the glass MIGHT crack with shipment. This is NOT grounds for refund, as you can replace the glass. I will do my very best to package it well but FLAT GLASS is very FRAGILE and easy to break. Again, purchase at your own risk knowing you might have to replace the glass. OR, I can just leave the glass out so you don't have to deal with a mess. I will confirm this with you before shipment via etsy messages.

Assembly required?: 
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, you might have to replace the glass upon arrival.

Please search your area (google or google maps) for a glass shop. These are usually specialized stores. You can contact them and get a quote for the measurements you need to see if it will be expensive or OK for your budget.
