DESCRIPTION
An authentic vintage brass chandelier back plate, rich with aged patina and quiet character. This ceiling canopy once supported a crystal chandelier, with evenly spaced holes around the rim designed to suspend cascading prisms and beads. The warm brass surface shows natural oxidation and wear, creating a soft, timeworn finish that cannot be replicated.
The sculptural dish form reflects light beautifully, even in its current state—equally striking as a functional restoration piece or as a decorative object in its own right. Perfect for restoring an antique chandelier, creating a custom lighting piece, or repurposing into a unique wall or ceiling feature.
The perforated edges and original wire hooks remain intact, offering a glimpse into its craftsmanship and past life. There are 15 holes around the top rim and 19 holes around the lower ring for hanging crystals or chains.
